FUTURE CHAIRS LTD has used years of experience in Formula 1 and aerospace to design and develop our carbon fibre wheelchairs.

Leaving no stone unturned we have looked into every area and aspect of design, this has enabled us to design, test and manufacture truly fabulous wheelchairs.

The chair is designed using Computer Aided Design, this is mated with latest carbon fibre manufacturing methods, computer controlled machining and processes as used in Formula 1.

The chair is bonded using the latest high strength adhesives and cured in a temperature controlled oven. The alloy components are welded, heat treated and powder coated in house to the same standards as used by modern Formula 1 teams.

Why Carbon Fibre?

Carbon Fibre is 4 times lighter and 7 times stronger than steel and is a wonderful material that offers strength and fatigue benefits over more standard materials.

Because of its benefits Carbon Fibre is used for many different applications:

Racing cars, fighter aircraft, passenger aircraft, boats and canoes, musical instruments, ski's, tennis rackets, mountain bikes, surf boards and skate boards
